Mrs. Navia grew up in the serene desert valley of Santa Clarita. She then later went to the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she majored in Global Studies. Before becoming a counselor at Golden Valley, Mrs. Navia was a World History teacher.  History was and still is her favorite subject in school.

Mrs. Navia is passionate about helping today’s youth reach their full potential and become well-adjusted members and contributors to our society. Mrs. Navia loves laughing, dancing and traveling with her wonderful husband and two adorable children.
