Varsity Baseball makes largest comeback in GV history
The Varsity Baseball Grizzlies completed the largest comeback in Golden Valley baseball history on Friday afternoon, overcoming an eight run deficit to down Vasquez 11-9. Down 9-1 in the second inning, the Grizzlies held their belief in one another and slowly chipped away at what seemed like an insurmountable deficit. They were led by Juniors Ayden Renstrom and Tyler Do who were a combined 7 for 8 at the plate while scoring five runs and collecting six RBI’s. Charlie Butts came on in relief in the second and went 5 2/3 innings to collect the win.
