Monica Garcia, M. Ed

Monica M Garcia is an experienced educator who has been teaching since 2002. She has a teaching credential in Mathematics and Introductory Spanish. She earned a BA degree in both Mathematics and Spanish from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Masters of Education from the University of California, Los Angeles. Mrs. Garcia piloted the Newcomer Math class, a much needed course for some of our students. Our district now has multiple Newcomer Math classes at various schools in our district. In addition to her primary role as an educator, she is also serving as Co-EL Coordinator and has served on the Professional Development team at GVHS.
