Welcome to Mrs. Frasson's classroom!  
 

Mrs. Corie Frasson is an experienced educator who has been teaching since 2005.  She began her teaching career in Iowa before moving to Ohio in 2012 and California in 2021.  She has industry experience in both general education and special education and currently is an Education Specialist in SDCFA at Golden Valley High School.  She possesses numerous teaching credentials in multiple states including History/Secondary Education and Special Education in Iowa; K-12 Special Education and Reading in Ohio; and Special Education in California.  She is a Certified Academic Language Practitioner through ALTA and a certified Orton-Gillingham Reading Specialist through IMSE.  She uses this knowledge to provide reading instruction for her students at Golden Valley.  Mrs. Frasson has a Masters degree in Special Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa.  She is a lifelong learner and is continuing her education towards a PhD in Special Education.  In addition to her primary role as an educator, she is the club advisor for GV VIP (Circle of Friends) at Golden Valley and is a member of many professional organizations including IDA and ALTA.
