Nathan Pellegrin
Nathan Pellegrin grew up in Sylmar, CA, before moving to Saugus in Elementary school. He spent his teenage years here in Saugus and graduated from Saugus High School in 1996, where he was an all foothill league and all SCV baseball player.
Before completing his higher education, Nathan worked at Chuck E. Cheeses, Sleep Number Bed, as a warehouse driver and delivery driver for Lasy Di's Cookies. These experiences pushed Nathan to attend college, so he could have the financial means to support a family.
Nathan Pellegrin joined Golden Valley in 2020 and has been working since 2009 in education as a school counselor, career coach, baseball/softball coach, and adjunct professor.
Before his time as a school counselor, he worked as a child care counselor/facility manager at a residential group home, helping children in foster care transition into adulthood.
Nathan has experience working at several schools, including Antelope Valley, Valencia High School, and at the post-secondary level, as a career coach and adjunct counseling professor at College of the Canyons. In addition, Nathan coached baseball at Valencia High, Saugus High, and softball at Antelope Valley and Golden Valley.
Nathan says that he was a late bloomer and did not graduate college until he was 33, when he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from Ashford University in Sociology. After considering a career in social work, Nathan decided on school counseling, where he attended the University of La Verne, completing a Masters of Science degree in Educational Counseling.
Nathan likes to work out, ride his BMX around town, and when it's time to eat, his family can be found at Chi Chi's multiple times a week.
