Mindy Foster

Mrs. Foster has been teaching since 2005. Her classes include creative writing, reading, English, theatre and drama, and acting. She has taught a diverse range of grade levels from 6th grade through college. Her love of reading and her passion for literature is what has drawn her into the world of teaching. Before finding herself an English teacher at Golden Valley, she started her career at UNLV teaching undergraduate theatre. Years later, a move was made to be closer to Hollywood since both of her children are actors.

In addition to her role as a teacher, throughout her career she has been department chair, cheer coach, thespian society advisor, and teacher mentor.  When not teaching, she finds herself chauffeuring her two kids, Kingston and Greyson, to activities and enjoying her time with her husband and puppy, Bailey. She is grateful to be a part of the GV community and looks forward to working with students and their families.
