Golden Valley Boys' Soccer
2024/2025 Season
Hello everyone,
As we approach the 2024/2025 season, I am proud to witness the continuous growth and success of our program. The 2024 summer camp marked a new pinnacle during my tenure at Golden Valley, setting the stage for what promises to be our most competitive season yet in the history of Boys Soccer at the school. The incoming freshmen, with their exceptional talent, will complement our upperclassmen, creating a formidable team that will strive for new achievements.
Our next step towards reaching greater heights is to unite our student-athletes with the entire school community and their families. The unwavering support of our families has been the cornerstone of our success, and to maintain this momentum, I encourage everyone to consider volunteering for one of our booster club positions. Your involvement is crucial to driving our program forward.
I am excited to work alongside each player and their families in the upcoming season. Together, we will continue to break records and achieve great things.
If you have any questions, please direct them to my email.
As always, GO GRIZZLIES!!!
Sincerely,
Coach Stephen Evison

Program Roster
Gentlemen,
We begin this new school year right where we left off—breaking records and achieving more first-ever moments here at Golden Valley High School. To start, we had a record number of participants at our Summer Camp, with over 70 players signed up. The three weeks of camp marked a new era for the program, as returning players joined an impressive incoming freshman class to compete for coveted roster spots. At tryouts, a record-breaking 58 new players showcased their skills in an effort to join our growing program. After careful consideration and much internal debate, I have selected the most talented teams Golden Valley Boys Soccer has ever had. Last year, only one freshman made JV, and none landed a spot on the Varsity team. This year, a record-breaking nine freshmen have earned places on either the JV or Varsity teams.
At this time, I would like to congratulate all 74 players who made the program this year.
For those who were not selected, I offer my sincere condolences. It’s never easy to make cuts, especially for those who have put in an enormous amount of effort up to this point. I strongly encourage everyone who did not make the team to continue working on their soccer skills, get in the best shape possible, and return to our 2025 Summer Camp.
