Zach Chevalier is spotlighted after having an amazing year at Morningside University in Iowa.

Erika Cedeno, Golden Valley High School World Language Teacher, has been chosen for the Teach Plus California Policy Fellowship, a highly-selective teacher leadership program. The program trains current classroom teachers to advocate on behalf of policies that impact their students – while continuing to teach full-time. Erika is one of only 20 teachers carefully selected from across California for this year-long honor. Congratulations, Erika. Read more here.

The Signal covers the Grizzlies win over Castaic.

Five high schools from the Santa Clarita Valley competed in the 2024 Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association Championship on Nov. 23.
The local high schools that competed were Castaic High School, Golden Valley High School, William S. Hart High School, Valencia High School and West Ranch High School.

The girls tennis program had their best season ever and The Signal covers their success here.

Our girls tennis team fought hard against L Sacred Heart but fell 7 - 11 and the most successful season in girls tennis history ended. The matches were close and our Grizzlies fought hard. We are all so proud of this outstanding group of student athletes. Congratulations, Coach Stimac and our Grizzlies!

On Saturday, all eyes were on the musicians as they took center stage and performed for the 40th annual Hart Rampage presented by the William S. Hart High School Regiment Band and Color Guard at College of the Canyons Cougar Stadium. (The Signal covers the story here)
