After graduating from Golden Valley High School in 2008, Cassandra moved to Santa Barbara and get a BA in Psychology from UCSB. After finishing in December 2011, she attended Cal State Long Beach to complete the remaining prerequisites she needed in order to apply for Masters programs in Communication Disorders. After Cassandra completed the one-year post-baccaleurate program at CSULB, she was accepted to Portland State University's MS program for Speech-Language Pathology. Cassandra is currently a first year graduate student, living in Portland, taking classes and seeing clients who have speech and language disorders ranging from adults with Aphasia (a language disorder that affects stroke victims) to children with Autism. Cassandra has a special interest in working with children with fluency and articulation disorders. She is so happy to have found her niche in what she believes to be one of the most rewarding professions there is and Cassandra can't wait to see where her career takes her as a Speech-Language Pathologist!
