Alyssa Kessler graduated from Golden Valley High School in 2008. She then attended UC Santa Barbara from 2008-2012 and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biopsychology. Alyssa began graduate school at the University of Southern California (USC) to study Occupational Therapy. She will be graduating in May 2015 with a Masters in Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. Upon completion of her Masters degree, Alyssa will begin a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at USC. Alyssa's residency site for her doctorate is with California Children’s Services, where she will be specializing in treating pediatric clients with physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, and traumatic brain injury. As an OT, her focus is to help her clients to live fulfilling and meaningful lives by providing them with the tools they need to become more independent and active in their daily activities.
