Congratulations to our Golden Valley Vocal Jazz Ensemble who performed at the Southern California Jazz Association festival on Saturday, February 8th. This was the first Vocal Jazz festival that the students have been a part of, and they received an “excellent” rating!
It was a great day filled with jazz, more jazz, and even more jazz with a special performance by the amazingly talented Jane Monheit.
Huge shoutout to our amazing soloists Alex Reinhold, Erika Meza, Jacob Rangel, Sofia Ramos, Diego Vanyl Garcia, and Melesse Stevens, and our student conductor, Allison Takapu. Mrs.Nazario is incredibly proud!
