Military Academy Information Night

The office of Congressman John Duarte is hosting a Congressional Military Academy Information Night for young individuals who are eager to pursue a career in the United States military academies.

The purpose of this event is to provide information and guidance to eligible students who aspire to attend one of our nation's prestigious military academies. The Congressional nomination process is a crucial step toward achieving this goal, and we want to ensure that all qualified candidates have the opportunity to participate.

Each year, Members of Congress may nominate candidates for appointment to four of the five U.S. service academies: U.S. Military Academy (USMA), U.S. Naval Academy (USNA), U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA), and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA). The fifth service academy, the U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA), does not require a Congressional nomination for appointment.
