My Favorite Teacher of the Year

Students are required to write a short essay, poem or thank you letter explaining how a teacher has influenced their life and why they appreciate and admire them. Entries should be 500 words or less typed in English and must be submitted to Barnes & Noble, Valencia no later than March 1st. All entries must be submitted with an entry form. Please see all documents attached for further details.

 

One teacher and student will be chosen as the local winner at our store. They will be honored with a certificate of recognition during a small ceremony in  April and will receive a small gift card from our store as well. The winning teacher only will then advance on to the regional level where they could have an opportunity to win a Nook Tablet and a $500 gift card and an opportunity to advance to the national level. If chosen as the Barnes & Noble Favorite Teacher of the Year, the winning teacher will receive $5,000 and their school will also receive $5,000.
